Engineering students at Catholic University have two opportunities to participate in programs that provide extra challenge and distinction:

  • The University Honors Program is open to students throughout Catholic University. Outstanding prospective students are invited to join, and current students may also apply to participate.
  • The Grand Challenges Scholars Program is a unique program within the School of Engineering that prepares students to address some of the most significant engineering challenges in the 21st Century, as identified by the National Academy of Engineering. Students apply for admission to the program during the sophomore year.
