School of Engineering undergraduate students complete a year-long capstone design project during their senior year. Capstone projects typically comprise of four to five students, with oversight from a full-time faculty advisor. The project serves as an opportunity to put the skills and knowledge acquired in the classroom, into practice, through the various phases of the research and design process. In addition, the School of Engineering holds several Senior Design Nights (typically fall and spring) and a concluding Senior Design Day at the end of the academic year. These events highlight the accomplishments of our students and present an additional opportunity to network with alumni, employers, parents, and community members invited to the celebration!
Below, you find information on previous Senior Design Days. The pages include the titles and abstracts of the various projects completed during previous academic years, along with links to students' final reports and presentations.
