Dr. Hang Liu, Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at the School of Engineering, is now a Fellow at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Fellow membership at the IEEE is a prestigious honor, awarded to just 0.1% of the voting members annually; approximately 300 individuals selected out of more than 400,000 total members around the globe.
Dr. Liu earned this membership through his contributions in the development and standardization of wireless mesh networking and video streaming technologies. His research continues to advance knowledge in the fields of wireless communication and networking, and his efforts underscore the School of Engineering’s commitment to conducting exemplary research in the pursuit of new knowledge and technological advancement.
