Mr. Giangiuli has been a lecturer in The Catholic University of America Engineering Management Program since the Spring 1992 semester. He has instructed graduate students in the areas of engineering economics, systems analysis, and decision analysis. He is a qualified Nuclear Plant Engineer and Nuclear Weapons Officer, and is a registered Engineer-In-Training.
Mr. Giangiuli is presently associated with the engineering consulting firm, Strategic Management Initiatives, Inc., which is located in Gaithersburg, MD. This firm specializes in assisting the Departments of Defense and Energy to address environmental, safety and health requirements through various management systems including the application of multi-attribute utility theory. Mr. Giangiuli recently served as the lead technical analyst for the Department of Energy's efforts to stabilize and deactivate excess nuclear material and surplus facilities. Mr. Giangiuli is also a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve and is an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD.
