The standard requirement for a minor is 6 courses in the minor field. Individual programs have additional requirements on which 6 courses are acceptable. Students should check with the program offering the minor before selecting courses. For Engineering students minoring in fields outside the School of Engineering, the Dean of Engineering’s office must be notified so that the minor can be added to the student’s record in Cardinal Students. Students should complete the Application of Minor form prior to submitting a diploma application at the beginning of their final semester.
