    With 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Roark is a Principal and Executive Director of Operations at CannonDesign. He is a member of the Core Executive Team and is responsible for the firm's Architecture, Engineering, and Interiors operations and driving innovation in everything the firm does. He holds the credentials of Registered Architect in five states, Project Management Professional (PMP), and is NCARB certified. Roark has a proven track record of delivering complex, high-risk, and high-profile projects for a variety of clients and project types, both internationally and domestically. He has successfully managed multiple programs and projects for the Architect of the Capitol, Smithsonian Institution, National Archives and Records Administration, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Universal Studios, and the U.S. Department of State, among others. He is passionate about the advancement of building science and technology to improve the built environment, committed to improving lives through collaboration to integrate science into the built environment, and regularly volunteers to give back to the profession. Roark is also an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America, where he teaches in the Master of Science in Engineering Management graduate degree program and mentors students.
