School of Engineering Diploma Distribution Ceremony

South end of University Lawn

11:30 am – School of Engineering graduates gather – Law School Atrium

After the main University commencement, School of Engineering students will immediately meet in the Law School Atrium. The Atrium is directly across the University Lawn from the Pryzbyla lower-level exit (enter the Law School building past the fountain). Graduates will assemble by program and will process and sit in specified order. School staff members will be on hand to guide you.

In the event of rain, School of Engineering graduates will gather in the Pryzbyla Center, first floor, before processing to the tent

12:00 pm – School of Engineering Diploma Distribution – South end of University Lawn

During the ceremony you will be guided when to stand and where line up to receive your diploma. Doctoral degrees will be issued first, followed by master’s degrees, then bachelor’s degrees. A professional photographer will photograph you receiving your diploma. You will then line up again after your picture (usher will guide you) and remain standing until everyone from your department has received their diploma. You will then be ushered back to your seat so that the other departments may receive their diplomas.

We invite all School of Engineering graduates and their guests to a reception on the north end of University Lawn immediately after the ceremony.
