Dr. Arash Massoudieh, Professor and Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, received a grant for $235,450 from Los Angeles County Public Works. The grant will fund his research in determining the effectiveness of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) used for Enhanced Aquifer Recharge (EAR); specifically, to better understand quantity and quality of stormwater recharge in urban groundwater supplies. His research will be funded through July of 2026.
