Over 40% of critical medical equipment in developing countries is in need of repair. Meanwhile, donated and purchased equipment sits idle due to lack of trained technicians and repair personnel. To address this critical need in hospitals worldwide, the School of Engineering is collaborating with Engineering World Health (EWH), a non-profit focused on building a global engineering community and knowledge exchange to address the critical instrumentation needs of healthcare in developing countries. Engineering World Health helps our students cultivate an international mindset that will give them a head start in today’s global health markets!
