CAPT Peter J. Maculan, U.S. Navy, a native of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, holds a B.S. and B.Arch from The Catholic University of America, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, and completed Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business Executive Management Program. A career U.S. Naval Officer, he has commanded at every level—leading Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FIVE, Naval Construction Group TWO, and the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering—while also serving in multiple expeditionary, combat, and shore assignments worldwide. CAPT Maculan currently serves as the Senior Military Acquisition Advisor in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition. His personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and numerous meritorious service and campaign medals. He is a registered architect in the state of Florida.
