The Acoustics Certificate provides students with Graduate-level knowledge of sound and vibration. It covers the application of acoustics, the science of sound and vibration in technology, and includes ocean acoustics. Also covers the design, analysis, and control of sound.

- ME 560: Intro to Acoustics.
- ME 562: Acoustic Signal Processing or EE 515- Digital Signal Processing.
- ME 566: Advanced Vibrations.
- ME 578: Ocean Acoustics.
- ME 660: Intermediate Acoustics (Prerequisite ME 560).
