Jobs in cybersecurity are booming: The federal government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that jobs in information security will grow by 18% from 2014 to 2024 -- that’s much much faster job growth than in most other occupations. The CUA cybersecurity certificate will give you the technical edge that you need to move into this field, or to advance further in it if you’re already working in cybersecurity.

The Certificate in Cybersecurity and Privacy requires the completion of four three-credit graduate courses, either online or at our campus in the District of Columbia, steps from a Metrorail mass-transit station.

In these courses, practicing professionals will teach you cutting-edge practical skills that you will be able to use immediately in your workplace. The program is designed to meet the needs of full-time working professionals.

You can start the certificate in any semester, and you can take the courses in any order. Our admissions advisers can walk you through the admissions process and can help you assess your technical readiness for the coursework.  Fill out the information request form on the right side of this page so one of our admissions advisers can reach out to you and get the ball rolling!
