If life is a highway, engineers better build them right! Transportation systems are essential to the development of society as people and goods move safely and efficiently through different modes. The Transportation Engineering program at The Catholic University of America offers a wide range of topics covering design, analysis, and the planning/management aspects of constructing and maintaining transportation facilities and services. The research areas include transportation planning, sustainable transportation, transportation asset management, safety, and interdisciplinary areas in economics, finance, and policy.
The curriculum below is for students entering in Fall 2022 or later (contact the department for previous versions).
