Biography

Elijah Feret, Catholic University '24, is a Biomedical Engineering student from Niskayuna, New York. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Nanoscale Engineering at The State University of New York at Albany next fall. 

Briefly describe your new opportunity.

"I will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Nanoscale Engineering with a focus in Nanobiology Engineering and Technology at The State University of New York at Albany." 

How did your School of Engineering and Catholic University education help you find this graduate degree?

"I was able to pursue this path by getting my accelerated master's degree in 4 years at Catholic University's School of Engineering. I was also inspired to pursue a doctoral degree through the opportunity to participate in such cutting edge, independent research with Dr. Christopher Raub." 

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"I was on the Swimming and Diving team, a member of Tau Beta Pi, and involved in research with Dr. Christopher Raub."

What were some highlights of your time at The Catholic University of America?

"Celebrating with my Swimming and Diving team after winning the Landmark Conference Championship four times."
