At the Catholic University Civil Engineering Department you will have the opportunity to pursue a broad-based civil engineering program. You can explore a wide spectrum of areas such as environmental and water resources engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction management. Special concentrations are available in environmental engineering and construction management and a dual degree program is offered with the School of Architecture.

    Our country has no shortage of Civil Engineering needs. This program prepares graduates who are ready to step in and help society in a major way right away in a discipline that is in demand. Students will learn about the past and present structure of building and designing of projects with the guidance of outstanding faculty.

    Environmental Engineering (B.S.Env.E.)

    Natural disasters, climate change, pollution - we face modern-day challenges every day. That’s where our students come in. Students will use technology to tackle these environmental impacts head-on. Since we are continually motivated to improve our programs, we’ve even started a new initiative on Climate Change, inspired by Pope Francis’ Encyclical Letter “Laudato Sí.”
